Urban Figures is a photographic exploration of our city and the human form. Through the series I intend to showcase the beauty
within mundane forms which, we overlook everyday, presenting our body and our surroundings as our place, our being.
Through abstract photography the images begin to leave the context behind becoming something purely visual at first sight;
hopefully allowing a realisation of beauty within these forms followed by the discovery of what they actually are.
The two forms are placed side by side, establishing a relationship both visually and contextually. The connection between the two
forms is significant as we share a relationship with our surroundings, interacting with architecture; having a place within both our
city and our bodies.
